After a full year locked up in open submission purgatory, my novel has finally been freed and thus, another round of queries go out.

It does feel intimidating seeing so many of the agents in my genre either already been submitted to, or several agents at an agency has already queried/passed. The pool of viable options feels like it’s dwindling around me.

But even after getting two rejections back just the other day, I plan to send out more, because why not?

I have a lot of cool ideas if I do end up self-publishing, so I’m trying to keep myself optimistic of my options either way.

I’ll keep you all more up to date as I hear back. I’m gonna start writing more flash fiction/short stories to post here while I wait to hear back just to keep myself busy.
